The history of Nuremberg goes back 1000 years and part of it is the dark chapter of the Nuremberg Rallies of the National Socialists and the Nuremberg Trials. At the Documentation Centre Nazi Party Rally Grounds you can follow the traces of the National Socialism in Nuremberg and try to understand the disturbing megalomania of the National Socialist regime.

But on your walks through the city you will discover also other facets of Nuremberg: View remarkable historic buildings, explore the diversified museum landscape as well as the “Kaiserburg”, the Imperial Castle and symbol of Nuremberg, follow the footsteps of Albrecht Dürer, stroll along one of the largest pedestrian zones in Europe that offers countless shopping facilities and before you enjoy the vibrant night life you should taste the regional speciality: Nuremberg Bratwurst.

Option 1 – Standard



Your accommodation is located in the centre of Nuremberg from where you reach the main attractions on foot. The group will be accommodated in shared rooms for 4 – 6 people. All rooms are en suite. Group leaders can get separate en suite rooms on request.

 

 

Option 2 – Comfort



You will be placed in one of our centrally located comfort hotels that are ideal starting points for tours through the city of Nuremberg. All rooms are furnished in a modern way and accommodate 2 - 3 people. All rooms are en suite and equipped with SAT-TV. Group leaders can get separate en suite rooms on request.

 

 

Option 3 – First Class



During your stay in Nuremberg you are accommodated in one of our 4* hotels. Thanks to the central location they are the ideal starting point for your explorations. The en suite rooms for 2 – 3 people are spacious and furnished in a modern way. They are provided with a minibar or a 24hrs room service for beverages and internet access. Group leaders can get separate en suite rooms on request.

Sample itinerary

Day 1:

Individual journey to Nuremberg, Check-in and free time.

Day 2:

In the morning you will participate in a city walking tour. Our qualified guide is going to show you the highlights of the historic city centre of Nuremberg. In the afternoon free time for independent explorations, for example exploring the pedestrian zone and shopping.

Day 3:

Full day free at leisure – A hint from us: Have a look at our various options for an exciting day in Nuremberg!

Day 4:

During the National Socialist era Nuremberg played an important part. In the morning you will visit the Dokumentationszentrum Reichsparteitagsgelände (Documentation Centre Nazi Party Rally Grounds). The permanent exhibition "Fascination and Terror" treats with the causes, contexts and consequences and effects of the of the National Socialist reign of terror. Following this we recommend a visit to the “Turm der Sinne” (Tower of the Senses). In this interactive hands-on museum you deal with the fascinating human perception.

Day 5:

After breakfast check-out, individual departure.

Transfers and Guided Tours

1. Transfer airport / railway station – accommodation – airport / railway station

If you arrive by plane or train, we would be glad to help you with organising a coach transfer to your accommodation on day of arrival and vice versa on day of departure.

2. Coach for city sightseeing tours / excursions

If you do not have a coach available during your stay in Nuremberg, we will organise city sightseeing tours, half-day and full-day excursions by coach for you.

3. Guide for city sightseeing tours / excursions

If you would like to be accompanied on your city tours and excursions by a professional guide who can give you a lot of interesting information about your destination we could arrange this for you.
